As part of the Materials Science Ma(s)ters project, we have installed an internal Moodle training platform as a test environment. The main purpose of this implementation is to enable the team to learn system configuration, test various settings and functionalities, and create a safe environment for experimentation. This practical initiative allows for effective team training in operating and managing the Moodle platform.The areas of learning and testing include technical configuration, educational functionalities, and system administration. Within the technical configuration, the team can practically learn the system installation process, basic settings, user management, and security configuration. In the area of educational functionalities, project members have the opportunity to create courses, add materials, configure tests, and manage grades. System administration allows for practical experience in managing roles, configuring plugins, creating backups, and performing system updates.Using the test platform brings many benefits. First and foremost, it provides a safe learning environment where mistakes can be made without consequences for the actual system. It enables gaining practical experience before production deployment, which is crucial for the project’s success. Moreover, working with the test platform contributes to the development of technical competencies of the entire team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
