Intellectual Outputs 2 – Overview

The objective of IO2 (R2) was to develop an innovative Master’s degree program in Materials Engineering that addresses the needs of the modern labor market, technological advancements, and social and environmental challenges. The program focuses on combining theoretical knowledge with practical skills, personalizing educational pathways, and fostering close collaboration with the industrial sector. Its goal is to prepare graduates for careers in a dynamically evolving scientific and technological environment.

Through the dedicated efforts of partners and a comprehensive approach to the various stages of development, the objective of IO2 (R2) was successfully achieved. The result is a modern and flexible Master’s program supported by teaching materials and e-learning modules. The outputs of this work are as follows:

Complete Master’s Degree Program:

  • A 4-semester structure (120 ECTS) with customizable educational pathways.
  • The program is divided into 12 thematic blocks, organizing educational content into coherent and specialized areas of study.

80 Syllabi and 80 Teaching Guides:

  • Detailed course descriptions with supporting materials to assist lecturers in delivering courses.
  • Each course is assigned to the appropriate thematic block.

4 Blended Learning Modules:

  • Each module consists of 10 flexible lessons that can be adapted to different educational needs.
  • The modules are designed for use in both traditional courses and on remote learning platforms such as Moodle and Microsoft Teams.

Solution for Personalized Learning Pathways:

  • A system for selecting courses and customizing learning paths to meet individual student needs and preferences.

Sample Implementation of E-Learning Lessons on Moodle:

  • Ready-to-use examples of lessons integrated with the Moodle platform, demonstrating practical use of multimedia materials and interactive teaching tools.
