Online project meeting
On February 20, 2023, another online meeting was held as part of the “Materials Science Ma(s)ters – developing a new master’s degree” project co-financed by the European Union under the Erasmus+ KA220HED program. The meeting was attended by representatives of all partner universities, i.e. the University of Silesia (leader), Afyon Kocatepe University, Ivan Franko National University of Lviv, University of Zilina.
During the meeting, the progress of the project and current and upcoming tasks were discussed. Experiences regarding the challenges encountered and their possible solutions were also exchanged.
Discussed topics covered: learning outcomes, i.e. the expected results of the teaching-learning process that the student will achieve during the new, interdisciplinary Master’s degree program in the field of materials science,the scope of effects enabling the achievement of engineering competencies, description of the education process leading to the achievement of the assumed learning effects, determination of quantitative indicators characterizing program of study, the possibility for students to choose an individual educational path, and rules for developing syllabuses. At the end of the meeting, the proposed dissemination activities within the project were discussed, and the work schedule for the coming weeks was agreed.
