Virtual Study Visit: Day Three at Ivan Franko National University of Lviv

We’re thrilled to share the highlights of our third day of virtual study visits at Ivan Franko
National University of Lviv, conducted via Microsoft Teams. Day three was packed with
insightful presentations, providing a deeper understanding of inclusive education, modern
teaching methods, and an exclusive look into the work of laboratories at renowned chemical
and pharmaceutical enterprises, Yenamine and Arterium.
The day kicked off with enlightening presentations on inclusive education. We explored
strategies and approaches to ensure education is accessible to all students, regardless of their
abilities or backgrounds. The session emphasized the importance of creating inclusive
learning environments and adapting teaching methods to meet students’ diverse needs.
Following the discussions on inclusive education, we delved into modern teaching methods.
Professors shared innovative approaches to engage students and enhance learning outcomes.
From interactive online lectures to project-based learning, we gained valuable insights into
incorporating technology and active learning strategies into our teaching practices.
One of the highlights of the day was the exclusive virtual tours of the laboratories at
Yenamine and Arterium, leading chemical and pharmaceutical enterprises. We had the
opportunity to witness cutting-edge research and development processes firsthand. Experts
showcased state-of-the-art equipment and demonstrated various stages of pharmaceutical
production.
At Yenamine, we explored the synthesis and analysis of organic compounds, gaining insights
into drug discovery and development. The tour at Arterium provided an in-depth look into
pharmaceutical manufacturing processes, highlighting quality control measures and regulatory
compliance.
We’re grateful to project members from Ivan Franko National University of Lviv, Yenamine,
and Arterium for organising such enriching experiences. Stay tuned for more updates as we
continue our virtual study visits!
