The M. Rıza Çerçel Cultural Centre is situated in the city centre of Afyonkarahisar. M. Rıza Çerçel Culture and Art Center, the only contact point of Afyon Kocatepe University (AKU) in the city center, is one of the prominent historical buildings of Afyonkarahisar and is also important as it is registered as a first-degree cultural asset.
The lower floor of the Culture and Art Center, which has a total closed area of 1,194 m² including the basement, ground and 1st floor, includes a multi-purpose conference hall for 100 people and administrative offices, while the upper floor is coordinated by the Faculty of Fine Arts.
M. Rıza Çerçel Culture and Art Centre CKSM Gallery and multi-purpose conference hall have hosted many artistic events such as personal exhibitions, group exhibitions, art videos, seminars, interviews and concerts. The Centre, which serves local and foreign guests, especially the people of Afyonkarahisar, with its social areas as well as its cafeteria, continues its activities to make significant contributions to the cultural and artistic life of Afyonkarahisar and to become a point of attraction.
The building was one of the first University buildings of Afyon Kocatepe University when it was part of Eskişehir Academy of Economic and Commercial Sciences and later Anadolu University.

How to reach Rıza Çerçel Cultural Centre
There are many ways to arrive to the venue:
For the guests who are arriving by intercity busses, Bus number 13 from city bus terminal is available to travel to the city centre; for the guests who are arriving by car, there is a carpark (municipality carpark) situated within 25 meters of Rıza Çerçel Cultural Centre. Please search for municipality carpark location as a target on GPS Google map link (Katlı Otopark). It is also possible to reach to the venue by Dolmus, both available from Bus terminal and Afyon Kocatepe University main Campus to the city centre.
