On Thursday, January 25, 2024, at the Faculty of Science and Technology on the university campus in Chorzów, a meeting of representatives of the CESI Rouen university (France) with employees of the Institute of Physics, the Institute of Computer Science and the Institute of Materials Engineering took place. During the cooperation since 2009, the Institute of Physics has repeatedly hosted students from French universities for 1 and 3-month internships.
The meeting participants presented the scientific and research profiles and teaching offers of their Institutes and Universities, and then selected laboratories of the Faculty of Science and Technology of the University of Silesia were presented to the guests. While discussing the educational offer of the units, the assumptions of the international project “Materials Science Ma(s)ters – developing a new master’s degree”, co-financed by the European Union under the Erasmus+ program (KA220 HED), implemented at the Institute of Materials Science and Engineering of the University of Silesia in Katowice, were presented.
