International Conference “Good Practices in Materials Engineering Didactics”
On February 19-20, 2024, the International Conference “Good Practices in Materials Engineering Didactics” was held, aiming to initiate a discussion about the challenges facing the modern education process of specialists in the field of materials engineering. The event, part of the “Materials Science Ma(s)ters – developing a new master’s degree” project co-funded by the European Union, brought together numerous academic teachers, representatives of accrediting institutions, and experts from the industrial sector.
The presentations by invited speakers allowed the conference participants to view the educational process from a broader perspective and identify new opportunities that will undoubtedly contribute to the further development and improvement of teaching programs in the field of materials engineering.
Conference participants also had a unique opportunity to take part in workshops where they gained practical experience in implementing innovative solutions based on the Lean Manufacturing concept in Education.
