The New IO2 Subpage is Now Available!
We are pleased to announce that a new subpage dedicated to the results of Intellectual Outputs 2 (IO2) under the Materials Science Ma(s)ters project is now available on our website. It contains all the materials we have developed to create an innovative master’s degree program in materials engineering.
IO2 Objectives
The main objective of IO2 (R2) was to develop an innovative master’s program in materials engineering that addresses the needs of the modern job market, technological advancements, and social and environmental challenges. The program combines theoretical knowledge with practical skills, allows for the personalization of learning paths, and promotes collaboration with the industrial sector. Graduates of the program will be prepared to work in a dynamically changing scientific and technical environment.
IO2 Results
As part of our work, we have developed the following materials:
Complete Master’s Degree Program:
- A 4-semester structure (120 ECTS) with options for personalized learning paths.
- The program is divided into 12 thematic blocks that group educational content into coherent and specialized areas.
80 Syllabi and 80 Teacher Guides:
- Detailed course descriptions along with supporting materials for teaching.
- Each course is assigned to the appropriate thematic block.
4 Blended Learning Modules:
- Each module contains 10 flexible lessons tailored to various educational needs.
- These modules can be used in traditional classes and on remote learning platforms such as Moodle and Microsoft Teams.
Personalized Learning Path Solution:
- A system enabling the selection of courses and the customization of learning paths according to students’ individual needs.
